Key Monastery, A sacred place of learning for the monks lies surrounded by the majestic Himalayas in Spiti, North India. 

3 years back I visited this location in the hope to photograph the night sky. However the weather had some other plans, it greeted us with stormy clouds and thunderbolts ,creating an electrifying atmosphere. This was a rare opportunity that a photographer gets , being at the right location at the right time since these stormy conditions here are infrequent. I have always wondered how people living centuries ago were able to architect this "Mountain of the Monks" with little to no resources in sight for miles, even today.

My experience of showcasing the geography of this astounding monastery was quite fulfilling and sometimes these Imperfectly perfect moments give us the best of visual adventure.
